ODDISS is a Russian band that was actually formed way back in 1999, but they went through numerous line-up changes and even some band-name changes since that time. The name ODDISS appeared in 2005. The band started to play shows on Moscow club stages and to write songs for the debut full-length album. “Molodye Bogi” was officially released in 2008 through CD-Maximum in Russia and CIS, but also attracted some attention of international media and audience. The lyrics of the band are completely in Russian. The frontman of Oddiss Pavel Shuvaev is not only a talented musician and an outstanding vocalist. He is a quite famous Russia actor and his most famous role is one of the central characters in Russian criminal series “Sled”. ODDIS delivers interesting blend of melodic metal, soft metal and gothic rock with charismatic low vocals and epic atmosphere. In this material it’s possible to see various influences from Metallica to the monsters of Russian rock like Alisa, Kino or Korol’ I Shut.
