Formed in 1998 in Moscow region by guitarist Dmitri Klytchnikov and drummer Alexander Gerasimov, P.O.S.T. very quickly started to conquer the club stages in Moscow and to play at rock and biker festivals. The musicians shared the stage with such Russian legends as BLACK OBELISK, E.S.T., BLACK COFFEE, LEGION. Catchy, straightforward and comprehensible stuff of the band in Aria’s vein with true Russian lyrics got the hearts of metalheads very soon. After many line-up changes in 2004 P.O.S.T. started the recording of its debut album "№1". It was warmly accepted by the audience, but for sure with the next studio record the band reached new heights. Unfortunately, up to the starting of the work the drummer and the bassist left the band. But the remained musicians – guitarists Vladimir Nasonov and Dmitri Klyutchnikov, together with singer Andrey Kalatchev got over all the obstacles and finished the recording. |
