Formed at the end of 1989, MORTEM is considered to be one of the pioneers of brutal scene in Russia. The music of MORTEM combines all the best from such classics of the genre as CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER and NAPALM DEATH. Despite many problems, breaks, line-up changes the band released 4 studio albums and for one of them had a record deal with French record label Warpath. In spite of many years on stage, they are still going on with their brutal death metal directly like a bulldozer. |
