Formed in March 2007, up to September 2009 VICONT had enough time and energy to achieve many things: to win some rock musical contests, to share the stage with such Russian metal stars as Catharsis and Arda, and to release its debut CD. Recorded in the famous studio GIGANT Record (where KIPELOV band prepared its album Reki Vremen, 2006) and mixed and mastered in Black Obelisk studio by Dmitri Borisenkov (Black Obelisk). One of the songs was recorded as a duet of VICONT’s vocalist Sergei Sokol and ARIA’s frontman Arthur Berkut. Cover artwork done by the famous artist Leo Khao (also Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Aria, Mavrin among others).
