The band is very active on stage, they supported Deep Purple in Bulgaria and played twice on stage of a big festival “Russian Winter” in London among many other outstanding and successful gigs. Heavy guitar riffs alternate with Celtic and medieval melodies. The female singer Elena Shirokova has unique eminent vocals (3 octaves). This CD was chosen by Russian magazine “Myr Fantastiki”. The track-list includes a folk hard rock cover version of a song of legendary Soviet bard Vladimir Vysotsky “Pesnya o volnykh strelkakh”. The leader and the mastermind of Hobbit Shire is an important Russian film director Maksim Samoilov. The band is famous by its theatrical live shows and by its songs with fantasy Russian lyrics.

The debut album of a folk band from Moldova (ex-USSR country). The repertoire of Ogam includes the most popular Irish folk songs and melodies. Melancholy ballads alternate with jolly fiery jigs. The musicians used authentic Irish folk instruments during the recording. All the lyrics are in English. The band was formed in 2001, but the modern line-up and the actual musical conception were formed only in 2007. Today Ogam is well known as a respected ethno fusion band, the musicians are frequently invited to play at many festivals and shows in various cities of Russia and Ukraine.

The first part of the very special show, real culmination of the extensive tour 20 Years Geroi Asphalta devoted to the Anniversary of legendary album of the Kings of Russian heavy metal. Released in 2007, the original album Geroi Asphalta still is considered to be one of the best records of the band. Published by the monopoly Melodia in USSR the LP sold over a million of copies. Every show of the original tour was sold out. And after 20 years the idea still worked. Moreover, former members of classical Aria’s line up the vocalist Valeri Kipelov and the guitarist Sergei Mavrin shared the stage with the present musicians of the band. This album is not only another live record. This is a exclusive sign of the real unique event. Recorded on 3th of April 2007 in Luzhniki Sport Hall. In this part: Oskolok Lda, Kolizei among other important songs.
