Formed in 1999, NATISK is one of the most famous bands playing typical Russian heavy metal / hard’n’heavy stuff in the vein of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Accept and Aria with lyrics in Russian. The band is very active on stage, they supported Deep Purple in Bulgaria and played twice on stage of a big festival “Russian Winter” in London among many other outstanding and successful gigs. This single presents the new vocalist of the band Alexey Tyshkevitch and it includes two old songs re-recorded with him and two new compositions.
The band plays folk rock basing on Slavonic culture roots. Using traditional instruments, the musicians create their proper music and tradition. “Samodiva” is a character of Slavonic mythology, a kind of “siren”. According to the legend these creatures look like young beautiful long-haired girls with mellifluent voices in white clothers... They seduce travelers and make them forget their way and their life. This music is like that: sweet melodies and female voices will bring you to the wonderful and exciting world of Slavonic mythological forest.
